If you think our work is as important as we do, we hope you’ll consider joining us on our Board of Directors. Desert Valley Hospice Society is committed to maintaining a highly functioning Board of Directors with a diverse set of skills and experiences. Our Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and manages the affairs of the Society in order to further its vision: to support excellent hospice care, palliative care, and life-limiting illness care services for residents of the communities of Oliver, Osoyoos and Okanagan Falls.We are looking for potential directors who have an interest in the hospice palliative care movement. Ideally, you might also have governance experience in the non-profit sector, skills and experience in accounting, HR, legal, business management, marketing, fundraising or the healthcare sector. Directors are elected at our Annual General Meeting in November and serve a two-year term.
