Guest Suites for Out-of-town Family
Desert Valley Hospice Society has four guest suites available for out-of-town families to stay in when they are visiting a loved one, attending a Celebration of Life, or other similar family event.
Suite rentals for each room is by donation. Donations are greatly appreciated to help us fund our programs and services. Grief and bereavement support is available to those staying with us or at a later date.
There are two queen size bedrooms and one single bed room. Each room has its own two-piece bathroom. Guests share the full shower bathroom or the bathroom with a walk-in bathtub.
Our facility has a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a quiet reading room, arts and crafts room, furnished patio with a BBQ, and complementary library. There is WiFi and two Smart TVs. All amenities are available for our guests.
We supply bedding and towels but we do not supply toiletries, hair dryers and there is no TV in the individual rooms.

Medical Professionals
We are proud to be able to make rooms available for medical students doing locums or practicums in the South Okanagan. This includes doctors, nurses, imaging students, physiotherapy students, pharmacy, to name a few. We also make the room available for travelling doctors and nurses. The rooms area available for $800 per month. The rent is based on arrival and departures dates and not full months as we know that these postings are not usually a 1 – 31 of the month types.
